Live Virtual Events

Students Rebuild

Launched in 2010, Students Rebuild is a free, ready-made adventure in global learning for students K-12
that calls on their thinking, creativity, and compassion. At the heart of the program are annual Challenges—calls to artistic action that address
urgent issues. Each is flexibly designed so busy teachers can teach them however they choose.

Participation in Students Rebuild is free for everyone.

The World Needs Challenge

Sparking global change through art-ivism

This year, instead of focusing on a single issue, the World Needs Challenge is tackling five big, global issues. After moving through a worldwide pandemic, each of these issues has surfaced as more relevant and resonant than ever.

During this Challenge, students will become “art-ivists”, designing posters to amplify the messages they care about, expressing themselves with colors, images and words.

In support of this year’s challenge, GNG’s Content Creation Lab is producing educational materials on each of the world’s needs and centering youth voices. Additionally, GNG will be hosting 5 Live Events throughout the Challenge.

Facilitated Live Events

During these live events, youth will explore a world need through a local and global lens, engage with one another to broaden their global awareness, and create an action plan to benefit their community. These events will also feature a distinguished youth guest already taking action in the world need area.
