About our special guest: Amelia Hanibelsz
Having been based in Asia for the last 6 years, she has shot and worked in Australia, India, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Singapore for the Discovery Channel, Fremantle-media and UK based TVE – Television Trust for the Environment. Now based in New York she is continuing her work with documentary film, and is strong supporter of Global Nomads and the work they do. Amelia was in Sri Lanka when the tsunami hit, and was asked to stay to interview survivors in Ampara, one of the worst hit areas, with over 11,000 dead and 185,000 people displaced.
