Global Nomads Group appoints new director of Operations

New York (January 8, 2001) -- interactive educational broadcasting organization Global Nomads Group (GNG) is ramping up its operations to meet a growing demand for international learning programs. Based out of Dallas and New York, the non-profit recently appointed entrepreneur and consultant Kamal El-Wattar as new Director of Operations.

El-Wattar previously served as a Business Analyst and Globalization Specialist at Bowne Global Solutions and as West Coast Manager of the Webstream and Interactive Division of International Communications, Inc. As a consultant, he specializes in assisting organizations to align their social missions with market forces to have more impact while being self-sustaining. He recently assisted in the launch of DigitalDivide.org.

"We realize that to successfully meet our social goals as a non-profit we need to run our organization like any other business venture: professionally" said Jonathan Giesen, a founder of GNG. "Having Kamal on board right now is extremely crucial to our growth as he brings us invaluable knowledge of successful management skills that can be applied to a non-profit".
