CELEBRATING DIVERSITY DURING THE HOLIDAYS: TEENS AROUND THE WORLD MAP THE PATH TO A SMALLER PLANET

Live videoconference moderated by Amy Eldon, Emmy-award winning producer and author, brings together Christian, Jewish and Muslim teenagers in Tel Aviv, New York, Dallas, Seattle and Los Angeles

NEW YORK, DALLAS, SEATTLE, LOS ANGELES and TEL AVIV (Dec. 16, 2002) - What do Muslims, Jews and Christians have in common? That is what teenagers in New York City, Dallas, Seattle, Los Angeles and Tel Aviv will attempt to find out in a worldwide videoconference on Dec. 18. Over the course of a two-hour meeting, these teenagers will share insight into their holiday customs and explore ways in which other holidays are observed by other cultures and religions through the use of real-time interactive video communications.

The live videoconference will be moderated by Amy Eldon, the Emmy-nominated host of "Dying to tell the Story," a documentary about journalists who risk their lives to do their jobs. Eldon is also co-producer of "Children of Peace: A Children's Crusade," a one-hour documentary for CNN. Her new PBS special, "GlobalTribe" is seeking out people who are finding solutions to some of the greatest challenges we face in the 21st century. The 2-hour videoconference, which starts at 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time will be streamed over the Internet and can be accessed at www.realcastproductions.com/globalnomads.

Global Nomads Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering dialogue and understanding among the world's youth, in partnership with Polycom, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLCM), a worldwide leader in interactive voice, video, data and web communications, WireOne Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: WONE) and Realcastlive, is launching this unique holiday event designed to bring together Christian, Jewish and Muslim school children from Israel and the U.S. to both find common ground and celebrate their diversity.

In Tel Aviv, Christian, Muslim and Jewish teenagers who attend the same school will offer a unique perspective on understanding diversity and tolerance in today's global climate. All of the students will interact face-to-face - discussing similarities and differences between cultures and gaining a deeper understanding of diversity around the world. "In today's turbulent environment, tolerance and understanding of this diversity have become increasingly important," said Christopher Plutte, director of the Global Nomads Group. "More than three billion Christians, Jews, and Muslims celebrate their respective holidays around the same time of the year. We hope that this project will help these teens demystify cultures and religions and learn to understand and respect the differences. The use of video communications will help bring these kids together in a very unique, face-to-face experience."

"We are pleased to collaborate with Global Nomads Group, WireOne and RealCast, Corp, on bringing kids from different cultures together to create a real-time, interactive environment for sharing holiday customs and beliefs," said Michael Baker, vice president of distance learning and telemedicine for Polycom. "Technology is bridging distances to make a smaller global community, and it's crucial that we develop a better understanding of other cultures and ways of life. Interactive video communications is becoming a common tool in business, education and medicine to bring people closer together and we are happy to enable this special meeting for such a noble purpose." The meeting will be enabled through the use of Polycom ViewStation® interactive video conferencing systems and the Polycom MGC-100, utilizing Wire One's multipoint bridging services and Glowpoint network to connect the participating IP- and ISDN-based endpoints.

The live meeting will also be streamed over the internet by RealCast, Corp and made available to the public through the Global Nomads web site at: www.realcastproductions.com/globalnomads The use of interactive video communications will allow the participants to see and interact with each other in a face-to-face environment.
