Global Nomads Group Names Clover Park High 'Ambassador School' for Seattle/Tacoma Area

Seattle (November 21, 2001) -- Global Nomads Group (GNG), an educational non-profit organization that promotes cross-cultural understanding through interactive conferencing, has selected Clover Park High School to participate in GNG programming as an Ambassador school representing the Seattle/Tacoma area.

As part of a worldwide network of GNG Ambassador Schools, Clover Park students will act as the "voice" of the Seattle/Tacoma area when conversing via videoconference with their peers across the world.

Clover Park was nominated following a recent meeting between GNG and Principal Andrew E. Kelly and teacher Steven Caley to discuss Clover Park High School's participation in upcoming international videoconferences. Following the meeting, Mr. El Wattar, GNG's Director of Operations said "I have been to many schools but rarely seen such a closeness between faculty and students - they seemed like family - I anticipate a great group of students with a willingness to meet, learn, teach and be inspired by students across the Globe."

The first international exchanges are being planned for end of November.
