Chris
Plutte is one of the co-founders of Global Nomads Group and oversees
its media production department.
Eleven years ago Chris sailed with Semester at Sea for the first time.
He is looking forward to being on board with Global Nomads Group and working
on bringing CURRENTS to fruition.
David
Macquart, 29. Grew up in Paris, France, and is currently living
in Brooklyn, New York City. He works full-time for Global Nomads Group
as Director of Communications.
Seeking to spread the notion that French people can actually be quite
nice sometimes, David travels the world incessantly, handing out free
cookies and helping old ladies cross the street…He will be updating
the website during this voyage and hosting the webumentaries. He looks
forward to your feedback!
Byron
Miller, at 33 years of age, is the old man of the group. Originally
from Columbus, Ohio he’s been living in Los Angeles for 15 years.
When he’s not traveling around the world with Global Nomads Group,
he’s probably working on an exciting and thought-provoking reality
show for MTV. Specializing in sound, his favorite song to whistle is “if
I only had a brain.” Growing up, Byron spent a lot of time on boats
and is looking forward to spending 3 months on The Explorer. He is most
looking forward to visiting Africa because the people there are so cool.
Jason
Liquori, 25. Originally from Levittown NY, currently living in
Los Angles CA. Occupation: Camera Technician.
“ I have been working
in the television industry for the past 4 years and decided to take a
break to try to help kids around the world… and save my soul from
reality television at the same time, please help me…follow us on
our trip!”
This is Jason’s first project with GNG and he is excited to travel
the world and help the effort for World awareness and peace.
