More About Connecting Voices
Connecting Voices was created in celebration of International Education Week. Designed to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to live and study in the United States, International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education. The organizations involved in the Connecting Voices project include AYUSA International and iEARN: AYUSA International is a premier non-profit organization promoting global learning and leadership through high school exchanges. Since 1980, AYUSA has provided over 40,000 high school students and host families with opportunities for building bridges of international friendship. IEARN is the world's largest non-profit global network that enables teachers and young people to use the Internet and other new technologies to collaborate on projects that both enhance learning and make a difference in the world. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
