What is videoconferencing?

Videoconferencing enables us to connect two or more schools from different locations at a time. There are currently thousands of schools within the United States that are equipped with this technology and dozens of statewide K-12 videoconferencing networks that can dial into events such as ours at an extremely low cost. GNG's principal tool for uniting children from different nationalities and exploring foreign places is videoconferencing using H.323 (IP) and H.320 (ISDN) protocols.

How do I purchase videoconferencing?

Talk to the IT coordinator at your school to see what videoconferencing system would work best for you. Our corporate partner, Polycom Inc., offers a variety of solutions to meet your needs.

What type of networking do I need?

We partner with Masergy, one of the leading providers in networking services. They can help you determine which network solution will be best for your needs.

what's next?

You will need to fill out a certification form and fax it to our video partner, Wire One Communications. Wire One will contact you to schedule a test with your school.

How do we connect during the conference?

You will be given a number to dial prior to the videoconference. You are require to dial into the bridge at least 30 minutes prior to the conference.
